This project is an art exhibition campaign for The Blanton Museum of Art showcasing works from artist Peter Paul Rubens. Born into a prominent Antwerp family, Rubens became one of the most important artists of the seventeenth century. Best known for his fleshy nude women, he also embraced a broad array of subjects from religious and mythological scenes, to portraits and landscapes. “Rubens Legacy, A Touch Of Brilliance” looks at each of these areas through the lens of five themes; power, lust, elegance, poetry, and violence. This design campaign includes themed posters, tickets, and an exhibition brochure.
This project is a book jacket design for the novel Robinson Crusoe. Inspired by events in the story, the idea behind this design is to evoke the emotion felt by the sailor who was shipwrecked and marooned on a deserted island. His ship – destroyed. His crew – dead. His location – unknown. Crusoe was without food, without shelter, without supplies but somehow, using only wreckage and his wit, Robinson Crusoe would have to learn to survive without help, without any hope of rescue, alone.
