Hello.


My name is Andrew Thompson, a brand designer based in Melbourne. Hard at it for over 20 years, with that, comes experience and a collection of work spanning a range of industries and diverse clients. It's given me (besides a thick skin) an adaptable creative mindset and focused design sensibility.

Am I any good?

Specialising in brand development and art direction, I aim to create interesting solutions by combining knowledge and strategic thinking with creative oomph, ensuring it makes an impression and every interaction impacts the wider brand perception.


Early on

A mandatory pilgrimage for any young designer in the early 2000s meant a stint living and working in the UK, of which I was lucky to have done 4 years out of London.

I’ve been genuinely lucky to have met and worked with some supremely talented people from many different agencies, from every corner of this wacky planet.


Now

Proudly Melbourne, I'm curious for all things creative – be it art, music or fancy brickwork on an old building. Professionally, I keenly collaborate with photographers, writers, strategists (and clients alike) to expand my thinking and create brands with purpose.
